Student Ministry Volunteer Jackson Creek Senior Living

The 2nd Sunday of every month our Youth Group, grades 5th through 12th, will meet from 2:30pm to 4:00pm at Jackson Creek Senior Living Center to volunteer time with the residents. We will enjoy the outside courtyard with them when weather permitting, play board and card games with them inside, make crafts together in their activity room, or sing songs with the lovely Gio in their library where they have a piano. The residents look so foward to our visits and wait a long three weeks until we meet them again. Please mark this Sunday afternoon down on your calendar and please, please try to always make it.
On this 2nd Sunday of every month, there will not be a typical Youth Group meeting right after service. This allows the youth to grab lunch and be refreshed for their time spent with the residents.
Two adults will always accompany the Youth Group at the Senior Living Center. Our Senior Living Center Leaders are Mindy Warman & Mindy Underwood, and our Student Director, Kendall Warman will be leading as well.
Join us in building a community and friendship with our local elderly community. The volunteer hours can be used for school or clubs that require community service volunteer hours. Bring your forms for us to sign off each month.
